she's got bette davis eyes.

All moved into my new house! Although, not quite unpacked. Half the room is absolutely cleaned and the other half, or rather one particular corner is crammed with clothes because I have yet to find a dresser for my room. I've been looking up different ways to decorate my room and I believe I'm going to paint it yellow. Not bold yellow and not canary yellow...but sunshine yellow. But not the kind that's going to give you a headache as you try to fall asleep.

I've also been visiting all these fine little vintage shops in Austin and they are just wonderful! I found some antique camera items that I must try out soon. One item is a photo enlarger - now I have to buy the developer, tumbler, etc. and soon I may develop and crop my own pictures.

In TV news, It's Orson Welles' spotlight tonight on TCM and I have to say that that Mr. Welles was quite dashing when he was younger. As are all the classic stars...le sigh. :)

Speaking of black and white, I have a test tomorrow, so this post has to be somewhat short. 1.) because I should really get started on the review while the coffee is fresh in my veins and 2.) because tonight is THE TRIAL at midnight. What a perfect way to end my night!

It's also youtube tuesday...so here's my video for the week:
It's GOB!!! He does his illusions...(not tricks!) and here's his intro song courtesy of the band, Europe. Seriously, it's a real song - not just some random music created for the show. I laugh everytime I hear it. It's why Will Arnett needs to do more movies.

p.s. Do people really have crushes on Michael Cera? While searching for this vid, I saw so many I heart MC fanmade vids...But if you like shy, awkward kids who are pigeonholed into the same role over and over again (poor guy) then by all means, do your thing.

update: it seems that The Trial will not be on until around 3 am. Eek, I'll be up all night!
